The Vocational Promotion and Guidance Branch, operating within the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association, introduced the “Nutrition and Dietetics” department for high school students on Friday, October 27, 2023.
Doga Kasap, a graduate of Trakya University Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and also a member of the Women’s Branch of our association, started her speech by introducing herself. She firstly gave information about the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and its sub-branches. She then touched upon course contents and medical nutrition treatments for diseases. Talking about the qualifications required to study nutrition and dietetics, the speaker also emphasized the importance of doing research in this field and keeping up to date with current information and gave suggestions and recommendations to the students. Finally, the interview ended with her answers to the questions asked about her work areas and job opportunities.
