The Vocational Promotion and Guidance Branch, operating within the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association, made a presentation on the subject titled “What We Focus on, We Grow” within the framework of Personal Development Workshops on February 16, 2024. Ceren Amet, a senior high school student and Eda Mustafa, a second year student at high school, shared the work they prepared together with their friends. They started with the topic of awareness of being an individual and a team, which is the basic unit of life. They touched upon the importance of our ethical values and the importance of being able to distinguish one’s area of interest and sphere of influence. They offered a different perspective on life through the lens of stoicism. They talked about life planning and courage. They also explained the search for meaning in life and the importance of happiness with examples.
They finished their presentation with a beautiful piece of music that added meaning to the presentation.
