Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association Women’s Branch organized a cultural trip to Istanbul on 25-26 November under the chairmanship of Sukriye MEMET. As part of the trip, the group first had breakfast at Zeytinburnu Mozaik Cafe on the morning of Saturday, November 25, and then went to Zorlu Performing Arts Center to watch the 1923 Musical. In the musical prepared specifically for the 100th Anniversary of the Republic, the adventure of the War of Independence was staged with a huge cast of 100 people, accompanied by music, dance, magnificent stage design and multimedia show. Basilica Cistern Museum and Serefiye Cistern were visited on Sunday, November 26. A magnificent visual feast was witnessed at the Serefiye Cistern with the 360⁰ projection
mapping system where history meets art and technology. After 2 hours of free time, we set out on our way back. The group consisting of women, young people and children completed the trip with brand new experiences and beautiful memories.
