THE TOPIC OF “WHAT TO DO?” WAS DISCUSSED IN THE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

The Vocational Promotion and Guidance Branch, operating under the Western Thrace Minority University Graduates Association, held a session titled “What to Do?” within the framework of “Personal Development Workshops” on February 21, 2025. The presentation was made by high school seniors Mpilge, Sevde and Kioumpra.

The presentation began by addressing the definition of emotion, basic emotions and their functions, and positive and negative emotions. An activity was then held in which all students participated to help them cope with emotions more rationally. After the activity, topics were covered to reinforce the topic, such as why understanding emotions is important and how to distinguish between emotions and thoughts. Finally, methods for regulating emotions were discussed. The workshop ended with answers to questions.
