The Vocational Promotion and Guidance Branch, operating within the Western Thrace Minority
University Graduates Association, held a session titled “Silent Dialogue” within the scope of
“Personal Development Workshops” on March 21, 2025. The presentation was made by high
school seniors Ayse, Esma and Eda.
The presentation began with the definition of self-awareness. It continued by touching on the
negative effects of lack of self-awareness on the individual and the importance of having this
awareness. In the last part of the topic, some items were focused on the benefits of self-
awareness on the individual and how it can be developed.
The presentation continued with the definition of conflict and internal conflict, another topic in
its content. By giving examples from daily life about what a person with internal conflict
experiences and feels, a few simple methods were discussed to overcome these conflicts. Finally,
an event was organized in which all students participated in order to increase and strengthen
awareness of the subject covered. The workshop ended with answers to the questions.
