THE HOPE FOR WOMEN LIFE FOR SOCIETY PROJECT
Women from Elmali, Pashevik and Koyunkoy, who participated in the “Hope for Women,
Life for Society” project, jointly organized by the Western Thrace Minority University
Graduates Association and Xanthi Mufti, met at the iftar table.
Women from the Balkan region of Xanthi, Elmali, Pashevik and Koyunkoy, the collar region
of Xanthi, participated in the “Hope for Women, Life for Society” project for 10 weeks.
Ilayda Unal, the precious wife of Turkey’s Consul General in Komotini, Aykut Unal, and Ege
Culha, the precious wife of Turkey’s Consul in Komotini, Baris Culha, were guests of the iftar
program held in Plagia.
In addition to our Xanthi Mufti Trampa, Mayor of Mustafcova Ridvan Delihuseyin, Chairman
of WTMUGA Dr. Huseyin Baltaci, I.T.B. President Ozan Ahmetoglu, the President of the
Cinar Association Cengiz Omer, our Deputy Mufti Ahmet Hraloglu and Fatma Imam, and the
Family Services Branch Manager of our Mufti, Hulya Giritli, attended with their spouses.
After the iftar, the project managers Gulcan Mumin and Sevcan Haciali expressed their
gratitude to everyone who participated in the iftar invitation and contributed to the project.
Then, our Mufti Trampa and WTMUGA President Baltaci presented a plaque of appreciation
to Mustafcova Mayor Ridvan Delihuseyin for their contribution to the project.
